Panel Discussion: Gender Beyond the Binary
with Zackary Drucker, MJ Brown, Jason Thomas Hill, and Amos Mack

This panel will look at the question of how a community can think beyond a “gender binary” world, considering the full spectrum of experience within the LGBTQ+ community. We will discuss how to foster such conversation among students, staff and parents.The panel will be led by Zackary Drucker, an independent artist, Emmy-nominated producer for the hit show Transparent, and a ‘trans’ woman whose work has re-conceptualized the way we think about gender and sexuality. Other panel participants will be MJ Brown, Jason Thomas Hill, and Amos Mack, who share many combined years of experience in the LGBTQ+ community. This event will be facilitated by Manzanita high school student Noah Carey. Please bring an open heart and a mind willing to listen and to learn.
